Chocolatey and Roasty, Prognosticator returns this year as an American Porter Style Ale. Brewed with 2 Row, Pale Chocolate and Crystal Malts to enhance the flavors of Chocolate and Toffee with a pleasant Roast. A perfect complement to waiting for Phil in the early hours of the morning!
Pairs well with Beef Brisket, Turkey Chili and Chocolate Cake.

ORIGIN STORY
We have been doing a Groundhog Day beer for many years now. Initially we did a mixed 4-pack. 2 cans of Prognosticator Porter (more Winter)...2 of Prognosticator Pilsner (early Spring). Punxsutawney Phil is the prognosticator of prognosticators based on his weather prediction abilities. We have gone solely Pilsner the last 2 years, and this year we are going straight Porter. We love that place and that tradition, and we hope to be considered for the official beer of one of America's oldest traditions again in the future!
