Just in time for the heat of summer we are releasing “It’s the Yeast We Could Do?”. This beer is a Belgian-style Golden Strong Ale which is very crisp, dry and refreshing. We start with a very simple grain bill of Pilsner Malt. While the Pilsner Malt does bring a light aroma of Crackers and Bread, the Yeast is the star of the show.

 

We ferment this beer with a Belgian-style Ale Yeast at a slightly higher temperature. This higher fermentation temperature elicits spicy and Tropical notes with a hint of Banana. We add just enough bittering Hops to balance the beer and whirlpool with Saaz for some earthy and grassy notes.

 

Pairs well with Fried Shrimp, Tandoori Chicken and Peach Cobbler.
