Achieving what others view as impossible is in our DNA. Crafting exceptional beer and creating meaningful experiences is what inspires us to keep going. We are Logyard Brewing, empowered to lead real change in the industry, solve and overcome tough challenges, and deliver the best quality beer.

Logyard Brewing was founded in 2017 by Michael Dunn, Royce Novosel-Johnson, and Timothy Robinson. We obtained our brewing license in July of 2018 and started brewing immediately.  Logyard Brewing is a brewery located in the Northwest portion of PA (Kane) in the Allegheny National Forest. We specialize in IPA’s, with many being Hazy Double IPA’s. We brew a lot of rotating and seasonal beers also - 30+ a year. These numerous other styles range from Lagers to Shandys to Imperial Stouts. We also are the only brewery in the entire country (according to the TTB and FDA) that organically extracts black birch oil from the source and infuses it into our beer. That is our Bucking Birch Kane Style Ale.

Why Logyard?

While determining the name, vision, and identity of their brewery they first picked out a location. The brewery production facility is housed in a building that sits aside one of Royce’s family’s old logyards.  This has been a Novosel logyard in one capacity or another for over 60 years.  The location, in addition to the extremely rich and long logging history of this part of Pennsylvania and the local and family ties to the industry, helped secure Logyard Brewing as the name.

Today, we're distributed throughout PA and can be found in 61 counties in PA. We are sold through 6 main wholesalers You can find our beers in your local distributor, bar / restaurant, grocery store, convenience store and numerous other locations. If you can't find us in your local spot, let us and them know...We'll get it there for you!

Whether you're a craft beer aficionado or first-timer, Logyard Brewing is a must-stop destination for all. We look forward to welcoming you into our community and the Hyper-local™ movement, Cheers!
